Our story
JH Coaches was acquired by the Shipley Family, former owners of Classic Coaches, around 2012. Following the acquisition, the brand was refreshed with the introduction of our now-iconic gold livery, quickly recognised and appreciated by customers for its quality and distinctive style.
In 2014, we relocated to our current purpose-built site in Birtley. Since then, we’ve experienced significant growth, expanding to nearly 70 vehicles, including nine brand-new coaches added in recent years.
Today, we proudly stand as one of the leading coach companies in the region.
